The American Cancer Society has programs and services to help people with cancer and their loved ones understand cancer, manage their lives through treatment and recovery, and find the emotional support they need. And best of all, our help is free.
This volunteer position would help recruit volunteers for our various community programs. We are seeking someone who will share stories via their personal social media accounts to make connections with potential volunteers who may be willing to drive a patient to treatment or teach a cosmetology class for recently diagnosed cancer patients. Ultimately this person would help increase the number of referrals from our volunteer website by directing their contacts to cancer.org/volunteer.
