The Angel Tree program provides new gifts to children in need who may not otherwise receive anything for the holidays. This year, 6,300 children in DC are being matched with donors who generously provide them with brand new clothes and toys.
We need your help receiving, sorting, and distributing the donated gifts at our Angel Tree Gift Warehouse! Please register separately for each shift, should you wish to join us more than once. If you are registering on behalf of a group, please register each individual separately. Please limit groups to 15 people per shift.
Angel Tree Gift Warehouse Location: This location is still being negotiated, and past locations have been metro accessible and had free parking. We will confirm with registered volunteers as soon as our contract is finalized.
Requirements: Volunteers must be age 14 or older, except for Family and Community Day (may have volunteers age 12 and older). All youth volunteers must be accompanied by an adult throughout the volunteer shift. Volunteers must be able to lift medium to large packages, carry items up and down stairs, and be comfortable on their feet for the majority of their shifts.
