Are you looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact in someone's life? Look no further! Avalon Hospice is seeking a companionship volunteer in Humphreys County (McEwen and Waverly, specifically).
Companionship volunteers offer a friendly face and a comforting presence to those suffering with terminal illnesses. Often, our patients are unable to leave their homes and need human compassion and social contact.
Companionship volunteers are offered training and support prior to going on a patient visit. For the safety of our patients, background checks and drug tests are required prior to service.
