The purpose of the Career Clothing Boutique is to provide the Women’s Center for Advancement (WCA) clients (victims and survivors of Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault - DVSA) with appropriate interview and work attire. Additionally, the WCA provides emergency kits to women who are fleeing from a DVSA situation or who are homeless.

The position entails assisting WCA clients in selecting appropriate work attire, maintaining the appearance and organization of the Career Clothing Boutique, gathering and entering client data into the WCA’s client database, and assisting with individual and corporate donations.

For more than a century, the WCA has led Omaha in serving the critical needs of domestic violence and sexual assault victims. The WCA’s multi-faceted approach provides vital services including but not limited to; the Omaha Metropolitan area’s domestic violence and sexual assault crisis hotline, advocacy, individualized case management, pro bono legal services, therapy, peer-led support groups, self sufficiency and career programs.
