The Iowa City Free Medical & Dental Clinic is looking for a trained, upbeat, team oriented dental assistant. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling. Patient care is provided on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 6-9pm. 1 to 2 shifts per month currently available.
Applicants should have a history of stable employment, and knowledge of policies concerning HIPAA, OSHA, and bloodborne pathogens. Experience serving a diverse patient population is highly preferred.

Description
The Iowa City Free Medical & Dental Clinic is a no-cost, appointment only clinic (completely free!) for the uninsured and underinsured in Iowa City and the surrounding communities. Though care is provided at no cost, it is also provided within the constraints imposed by the use of volunteers and limited resources.
