Come join us for fun!

Help staff the State Museum's newest exhibit, Savage Ancient Seas - all about prehistoric beasts that inhabited our oceans 80 million years ago. Guide museum guests at informational kiosks. Conduct mini tours of the exhibit.

Training and background materials are free. Free easy parking. Generous museum benefits include guest passes and discounts in the museum shop and cafe.

Meet new people. Have fun. Friendly staff. Flexible 2-hr shifts can meet your schedule. The museum is open weekends and Tuesday evenings until 8pm so there are a variety of shifts to select.

Volunteer orientation is on Tuesday, March 21 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. This 3-hr orientation is required of all msueum volunteers and will cover policies, procedures, a building orientation, access to one 4-D theater show and be one of the first to view Savage Ancient Seas.

Please email Jeff.Powley@scmuseum.org to reserve a spot in the orientation class.
