ABOUT GIRLVENTURES
GirlVentures' mission is to empower adolescent girls to develop and express their
strengths. We explore self, community, culture, and environment through outdoor
adventure and experiential education, creative arts, and group experiences. GirlVentures
offers girls the opportunity to make thoughtful, strategic decisions, develop effective
communication and leadership skills, become strong allies, and build healthier
communities.
Serving diverse girls ages 11-18 from eight Bay Area counties, GirlVentures recruits
participants who are varied in experience, ethnicity, race and socio-economic background.
