Mission Statement

Our mission is to inform, inspire, and engage individuals in service and works that will aid in bridging the socioeconomic gaps. We aim to bridge the gaps in poverty, literacy, community involvement and awareness, health & wellness, & workforce/economic development.

Description

Bridging the Gap of Central Arkansas (BTG) was incorporated in 2015. Our founder decided that she wanted to take her service and giving to new heights. Ms. Ice has always served her community through respective organizations, universities, and church, but wanted to broaden her service and giving to include entire geographical regions such as the often overlooked, low-income areas of central Arkansas. She feels that there is a lack of face to face interactions in these areas from community leaders, etc. and, therefore, operates under a meet people where they are approach. With the gender and racial gaps steadily widening in education and other socioeconomic factors, she felt it was time to take action.
