Discover Roxbury is looking for volunteers for one of our biggest events: the Heart of the Hub on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Hibernian Hall, 184 Dudley St, Roxbury. This annual fundraiser is successful in large part because of assistance and dedication of a responsible corps of volunteers like you!
To help make sure we're all successful at the event, we do invite you to attend our volunteer welcome session on Thursday, October 22nd at 6:30-7:30pm.
Whether you're new to the area or looking for something new to do, volunteering at Discover Roxbury is a great way to meet people, be involved in the workings of a non-profit organization, and contribute to a vibrant Roxbury. An eye for detail and a friendly smile are musts.
Specific opportunities include:
Heart of the Hub: 11am prep/venue set up (11am-1pm on Thursday, October 29)
Heart of the Hub: 4pm prep/vendor set up (4pm-6pm on Thursday, October 29)
Heart of the Hub: Thursday night early (5pm-8pm on October 29)
Heart of the Hub: Thursday night late (7pm-10pm on October 29)
