Join the crew at South Street Seaport Museum in preserving, restoring, and maintaining the historic fleet of ships. An orientation for new volunteers will be held every Wednesday at 11 A.M. sharp. Get your hands dirty, make some friends, and learn useful and unique skills! You'll learn safety and protection, metal and wood preparation, marlinespike seamanship (ie; knots), painting and varnishing, hand and power tool use, and much more as you keep our magnificent historic ships floating!
