Love sending care packages? We are looking for someone to process orders from our online store.
The volunteer store manager will be responsible for:
- Checking for new orders
- Packaging orders for shipment. This can require some heavy lifting, including some boxes of 30 lbs.
- Tracking inventory and ordering new supplies or items as needed
- Creating shipping labels using our shipping software
- Keeping the storage area tidy
- Updating customer records
- Responding to customer inquiries
- Following up with customers by email to check on their new solar cooking items!
We’re looking for someone who has a precise attention to detail, can come in reliably at least once a week during regular business hours, has customer service experience, and who enjoys volunteering in a small nonprofit office environment.
This volunteer opportunity requires lifting some heavy items and working on a computer at a desk.
