Description
During the upcoming Winter Jam Christian music tour, Holt International Children's Services and Christian artist group NewSong join to advocate for orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children around the world! At every concert, NewSong will encourage concertgoers to sponsor a child through Holt. While the tour will continue through the spring, Holt urgently needs hundreds of volunteers for 9 West Coast concert dates in November 2015. Volunteers will serve as Holt ambassadors, signing up new sponsors and sharing information on adoption.
An international adoption and child welfare organization, Holt International works in countries overseas to help struggling families care for their children -- and to find loving adoptive families for children who need them. With a monthly donation of $30, Holt sponsors provide essential care for children while Holt works to secure for them a stable, loving home.
Since Holt first partnered with Winter Jam and NewSong in 2006, Holt has welcomed over 60,000 new sponsors. Holt's goal is to recruit 15,000 new sponsors by the end of the East Coast Tour in Spring of 2016! YOU can help us do it! All volunteers will receive free early entry to the show - so come join us for an amazing night of entertainment and service!

Requirements:
- In order to register, you must be 16 or older and have a current email and a mobile number.
- Registered volunteers may add up to two of their children (younger than 16) as guests.
- Groups welcome but we suggest you have each member register independently to ensure communications from Holt.
- Volunteers must stay for the duration of the event, which will include pre-show training and service from listed volunteer arrival time (usually 3 p.m. or 4 p.m.) until the end of the show usually around 11:00 p.m.)

- Monday prior to show receive Holt volunteer pass via email
- Day of concert receive a text with location of the volunteer entrance and how to find it!

FAMILY STRENGTHENING: Our first priority is always to strengthen and preserve struggling families, whenever possible. Through nutritional, financial, health, education and counseling services, we provide the tools and resources families need to grow stable and self-reliant - addressing the root causes of child abandonment, and creating a safe, supportive environment for children to grow and thrive.
ORPHAN & VULNERABLE CHILDREN CARE: We ensure that children who have been orphaned, abandoned or separated from their families receive the highest quality care while we work to reunite them with their families or unite them with a loving adoptive family. We do this through a holistic program of medical, nutritional, educational and psychosocial services tailored to fit their individual needs and carried out in a nurturing environment.
ADOPTION SERVICES: When adoption is the best option for a child, we first strive to find a domestic adoptive family in the country of the child's birth. When international adoption is the best route to a stable, loving family, our expert team of adoption professionals works across the U.S. to find the family best suited to care for each child's unique needs. And through pre- and post-adoption support and resources, we work to ensure lifelong success for both children and their families.
