Facilitators Needed for Open Airways

The American Lung Association is currently looking for Open Airways for School facilitators. Open Airways for Schools facilitators are trained to conduct a 40 minute session to children ranging from grades 3rd -5th in order to educate them about asthma and how to control their asthma. They can be school personnel, parents, community volunteers, or anyone with an interest in working with children.

There will be multiple sessions held from October until November. Current facilitator openings include:

October 12th -16th

3rd grade- 2:15-2:45 PM

4th grade- 11:20-11:50 AM

5th grade- 10:45- 11:15 AM

Week of October 5th through week of November 13th:

Once a week on Fridays: 2:00 pm-2:50 pm

Facilitators will need to pass a background check and be willing to work with elementary school children.
