Title: Carl Cozier Elementary School Recess Coach

Purpose:

Carl Cozier Elementary is seeking school recess coaches to lead students in organized activities during recess. In order to create a space for every student on the playground, recess coaches will lead fun and inclusive activities. Additionally, recess coaches will help resolve disputes or conflicts on the playground.

Duties/Expectations

• Lead organized games and activities

• Provide social-emotional support to students

• Aid in problem solving and conflict resolution

• Respect confidentiality of children and families

  Location:

  Carl Cozier Elementary School, 1330 Lincoln Street, Bellingham, WA 98229

Time Commitment:

1-2 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks

Qualifications/Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age

• Ability to work independently.

• Complete a background check

• Attend an onsite training and orientation

• Ability to arrive on time and give notice if unable to attend
