Coat of Many Colors

Mission Central is empowering people in need to improve their own quality of life. Through our Village Pantry, Mobile Food Pantry, Village Library after-school tutoring program, and our Family Opportunities Program (helping homeless or near-homeless families on their journey to self-sufficiency), we are impacting the lives of hundreds of our neighbors each year.

The Coat of Many Colors Resale Shop provides more than 50% of the revenue that funds our programs. As a Retail Assistant, you are helping to ensure that Mission Central can help feed, clothe, and empower our neighbors.

The Retail Assistant works in the front of the store, providing excellent service to our customers, keeping the sales floor stocked and tidy, and assisting staff with transactions. The store is open Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 6 pm, and volunteers are needed to work regular shifts at the same time each week during those times.

Volunteers will need to complete a Volunteer Application and background check. They will then work with the Director of Volunteers and Assistant Store Manager to receive training and discuss a schedule.
