Giving Tuesday is a day for giving back to the community. It falls on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, so after you spend, you can give. Volunteers will have the opportunity to volunteer at a KenCrest site close to their home or place of work. Some possible activities that volunteers can participate in are painting, yard work/winterizing gardens, helping decorate for the holidays, cleaning/organizing supplies, throwing a holiday party for KenCrest consumers, and assembling furniture. When signing up to volunteer, please include the number of volunteers you will have and where your home or office is located so we can do our best to match you with a local project.

Description
Founded in 1905, KenCrest is the largest provider of community-based services to people with intellectual & developmental disabilities and autism in southeastern Pennsylvania. KenCrest has a staff of 2,300 and provides services to over 12,000 individuals through a community-based model. KenCrest's programs and facilities span the Philadelphia region's six counties (Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia), Delaware, and Connecticut.
Services
Our services include Early Intervention, Head Start, PA State PreK, Residences for Medically Fragile Children, Personal Support, Community Living, Lifesharing, and Employment Services for people with developmental disabilities, and transition services for youth and adults with Autism.
