We are dedicated to retaining women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing technology-based careers. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events to empower, support, and increase the confidence of women and girls. Through our events, ChickTech builds community, empowers participants to see themselves as leaders, and provides networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing high tech industry.
We are looking for someone to help the Seattle team develop, manage, and maintain an in-person presence at local tech events. In collaboration with other marketing efforts you are responsible for spreading the word about the Chicktech organization as a whole, our events and our needs as a chapter. Your role is to l et the community know all about the great things we’re doing and that we need their support to succeed and increasing community engagement!
Requirements of the role:
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to attend bi-weekly to weekly tech events
Ability to work well with others
Out-going personality
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with the rest of the leadership team to source event attendees, volunteers and fundraising opportunities.
- Maintain Chicktech’s reputation and recognition within the local tech community.

Description
ChickTech is a multi-generational community helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events and mentorship to empower, support, and increase the confidence of girls, women, and non-binary folks. Through our programs, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.
As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
