Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, widely recognized as one of New York's premier human services organizations, is a 120-year-old settlement house that provides an extensive array of effective and integrated services which significantly improve the lives of 20,000 people on the East Side of Manhattan. We are seeking volunteers with good computer skills who can offer individual instruction to older adults at our Senior Center in how to become more proficient in using technology such as laptops, cell phones, tablets and other electronic devices. The time commitment is 1:00-3:00, one weekday per week for at least three months.

Description
Lenox Hill Neighborhood House was founded in 1894 by the Alumnae Association of Normal College (now known as Hunter College of the City University of New York) as a free kindergarten for the children of indigent immigrants. Since then, we have remained at the forefront of community advocacy and social and educational change.
