We are looking for high school students, college students and professional willing to assist in providing tutoring via our free Saturday MathMATTERS Enrichment Program.
This opportunity will last from January 8th - June 1st and require 4hrs of volunteer time each week during after-school hours.
The Enrichment program will couple on-line KHAN Academy Technology with TestInnovators practice exercises and in room testing to assist elementary and middle school youth in improving their overall math performance and overcoming common testing challenges.
This simple informal program will help bridge Achievement Gaps in low income neighborhoods in Raleigh.
Each location is limited to 20 participants to ensure optimal instruction.
We are looking for (4) volunteers to foster small group tutoring for 5 students weekly.
The program is part of our Saturday Academy but we are open to flexibility with the right dedicated volunteer(s)!.
