ORGANIZATION: Run Hope Work

Take the Bike to Brooklyn Challenge!
Our founder Jose leads the team all the way to Brooklyn

Run Hope Work, a non-profit that serves at-risk DC youth, is looking for a Bike Mechanic to ride in the support Van for the first annual Asurface "Bike to Brooklyn" Endurance Challenge to benefit Run Hope Work. This two day event challenges our team of amateur athletes to bike 200 miles from DC to NY in less than 48 hours, then run straight into the Brooklyn half marathon. This challenge is amazing, not only because of the distance and intensity, but because of what it stands for- all proceeds support Run Hope Work in their mission to transform lives.

If you are a bike mechanic willing to come along for the ride and serve as our on-call Mr. Fix-it for the cyclists, please respond to this post with your name, contact info and why you are interested in getting involved.

The challenge begins this Friday, 10/9 and lasts through Sunday, 10/11. For more info, visit our event page- http://www.runhopework.org/bike-to-brooklyn.html
