The Library is looking for an individual who is available on Weekday mornings or afternoons. Thanks

As an official Dayton Metro Library Mascot, you will be a lovable extension of our Library family at programs, special appearances, and other community events. While it takes responsibility, energy, and effort, it is also a ton of fun! The Library Mascot will be required to appear at Special Events. Training will be provided and is required for this position.

Certain requirements must be meet to be a Library Mascot

-The physical requirements/limitations of the Mascot costume by being between 5’1" - 5’8" tall and weigh up
to 185 pounds
-Training in the Mascot’s "signature moves" and follow all other safety guidelines and rules set
forth by Dayton Metro Library
-Outgoing and good with children, friendly and engaging, spirited and enthusiastic.

-No health or physical issues which would hamper my ability to perform as the Mascot or which might cause performing as the Mascot to be unsafe to my health; I am covered by a personal medical insurance plan
