Make an impact on the life of a child who struggles with their reading. Join us for a one on one tutoring experience with students in the Reading Partners program at Dora Moore Elementary. This group volunteer opportunity will include:

• 1 Hour for check-in and a tutor training with the Reading Partners team

• 2 one on one tutoring sessions with Dora Moore Elementary students who are reading 1 month to 2.5 years behind grade level using Reading Partners evidence based reading curriculum

Please arrive to Dora Moore Elementary (846 Corona St, Denver, CO 80218) by 8:20am. You will need to hit the buzzer to be let into the building. Just let them know you are there to tutor with Reading Partners.

A member of the Reading Partners team will be waiting to greet you at the front office just inside the building, where you will check in and then the group will head to the Reading Partners Reading Center.

Please wear business casual clothes for this volunteer opportunity. We like to set a great example for our students in the Reading Center. Please don't bring any gifts for the students. If you would like to donate new or gently used books to the Reading Center please touch base with Jess Morse (see contact information below).
