We are seeking a group of 4-5 people able to clean and set-up an open apartment for an incoming family. Must have a flexible schedule for times and dates vary depending on apartment availability. All volunteers will be required to complete a full volunteer application and go through an orientation.

Cleaning time varies depending on the size and condition of each apartment.

This would include:

- Cleaning all rooms in the unit

- Washing all the dishes

- Setting up bedrooms with new bedding

- Organizing kitchen cupboards, food pantry, etc

- Putting new toiletries in the bathroom

- Putting together a welcome basket

*All cleaning supplies, food, toiletries, bedding, and new furnishings are all provided by Vision House.

Description

VH is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit Christian agency that provides confidential temporary housing for homeless families and their children, and separately for homeless single men recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. The primary goal of VH is to provide residents with a stable, safe living environment. VH provides case management to enable residents to become self-sufficient by accessing community resources and by pursuing further education, training, or employment opportunities.
