Sleepy Hill Elementary is seeking volunteer homework helpers to help students master a skill or concept they are experiencing challenges with. Homework helpers get to choose which subjects they are comfortable with and students will be matched accordingly. While retired educators and education majors are welcome, professional training/education is not a requirement. Also a great assignment for adults whose employers provide paid leave time to volunteer to assist students. Volunteers are needed Mondays and/or Thursdays from 3pm to 6pm.
The mission of Polk County Public Schools is to provide a high-quality education for all students.
