Sound Engineer Internship
Earn credits while helping children get rescued from sex traffickers.
We all know that the film can create emotions that no other creative medium can, and Steven Spielberg says the sound is more than 50% of the experience. We are looking for someone with the discerning ear to help edit our stories, interviews and other media projects in a way that will make our media stand out and motivate others to want to rescue children from exploitation.
Helping Child Rescue’s mission to protect more children as a Sound Engineer intern will include:
editing in adobe audition
matching sound to footage primarily shot on our RED Camera (R3D files) in Adobe Premiere
Previous experience with the After Audition and other programs would be a big help.
This is a highly collaborative role and you will work closely with our Founder (also an artist) as well as with marketing and team members across the creative spectrum including web, motion graphics and copywriting.

About Child Rescue Association of North America
Location:
150 S. State Street, SALT LAKE CITY, UT 84111, US
Mission Statement
We work to eliminate the sexual exploitation of children by human trafficking and child pornography rings.
We condemn all forms of exploitation and violence against all people, and especially against children.
Our mission is to rescue trafficked children--one at a time if we have to--and cripple the criminal networks that hold them in slavery.
Description
We focus our efforts on four areas:
1) Rescue missions and undercover operations to save kids and dissolve trafficking and pornography rings from the inside out.
2) Law Enforcement trainings taught by intelligence and vice officers with years of experience and skills to share that empower local law enforcement teams to fight trafficking and exploitation in their jurisdictions.
3) Trafficking survivor aftercare, mentoring, and entrepreneurial training to help survivors get back on their feet, work through their trauma, and rebuild their lives.
4) Youth prevention and education to help empower youth to recognize trafficking and the grooming process so often used by traffickers, fight against trafficking and exploitation, and educate their networks about the realities of trafficking in the US and globally.
