Translate a foreign language or sign language at a Volunteer Reception Center (VRC). A Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) is an operation in which spontaneous, unaffiliated disaster volunteers are registered and referred to local agencies to assist with relief efforts after a disaster has occurred.
The volunteer will assist site personnel with communicating to volunteers who do not speak English. May possibly need to shadow the client through the registration process, assist with completing paperwork or helping volunteers ask questions.
