Come help put food on the table & fill tummies for families facing hunger at the Salvation Army, downtown Bradenton.
Volunteers will help sort, organize and restock the shelves to prepare for summer distribution.
9:30am-12pm
June 1st & 2nd
*teens 14+ WITH parent/ADULT leader
Volunteers should be able to comfortably lift 10-15lbs, bending, standing.

Description
We are the Salvation Army of Manatee County and we combine our global mission of preaching the gospel & meeting human needs, with our passion for our local community and call it Mission Manatee.
Our unit is locally driven, funded and focussed. Volunteers are essential in serving our community and we want to recruit, work with and celebrate kindness, compassion, dedication and service.
Our facility in Downtown Bradenton houses two shelters - one of which is the ONLY emergency shelter for woman/children in our county- a large commercial kitchen, food pantry and social service offices to respond to the needs of our homeless community and those at risk of becoming homeless.
