HOPE Collaborative, the Child Abuse Prevention Council of Riverside County, is hosting a FREE Movie Discussion Night at the Hemet Theatre on October 7, 2015 for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The film "The Children Next Door" will be shown and then a discussion will follow about ways the Hemet/San Jacinto Community can strengthen families and build the community to decrease incidents of domestic violence.

Volunteers will help with registration, surveys, ushering and refreshments.

Since 1953, Family Service Association has served communities in Southern California with a variety of human service programs including: Child Development, Child Abuse Prevention, Trauma Informed Counseling, Senior and Community Centers, Senior Housing, and Senior Nutrition. Family Service is a not-for-profit social service organization dedicated to meeting the changing needs of families and communities in Riverside County and San Bernardino County regardless of income, ethnicity, gender or socio-economic status. We envision a day when Inland Empire communities have strong families without poverty, hunger or health disparities.
