Event Activity: Volunteers will remove English ivy from trees in Rock Creek Park. Tools, gloves, and training on how to identify and cut English ivy will be provided. This event is suitable for ages 16 and up. Student Service Learning hours can be earned by high school students.
When: Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Location: Glover Archbold Park - We will meet near the entrance to the park at the end of W. St NW in Glover Park. The closest intersection is W. St NW and Foxboro Pl NW. Street parking is available.
What to Wear: Please dress appropriately for the weather. Wear sturdy boots or sneakers, no sandals. We recommend long pants and sleeves to prevent contact with poison ivy.
