Looking for church groups or other organizations who can recruit a team of volunteer drivers to drive seniors to doctor appointments. We have needs in Greensboro and High Point. This wold involve a few hours per team member once a month, or more if a team could do more. See below for more information.

Many seniors lose their ability to drive as they age. Some have no one to drive them to their doctor appointments.

Some have family members who have trouble getting time off from work to take them to doctor appointments.

Some pay exorbitant fees to acquaintances to drive them to their appointments. Others lack the money to pay these fees or the high costs of cab fares.

By donating a few hours of your time once a month as part of a caring team, you could help these seniors get to their doctors and maintain their health and their quality of life and provide them with some caring, human contact. We need 3 to 10 people to do 3-10 rides one day a month.
