Would you like to help us help rescues by gift wrapping for the holidays?
During the holidays, Barnes & Noble allows groups to come in and wrap books and other gifts and accept donations for doing so. Everything is supplied by the store- all we need is manpower!
We currently have one person and need a second to fill Sunday shifts, 3-9pm:
Nov 29 Dec 6 Dec 13 Dec 20We could also use a 3rd person on Dec 23 to do a whole 6 hr shift (3-10pm) or two people to fill 2 3 hr shifts (3-7pm and 7-10pm). We have 2 volunteers already for the whole shift, but expect this to be a busy evening so would be happy to have 3 people at the table the whole time.
If anyone is interested in other dates and times, there is a lot of availability currently between Nov 19- Dec 23 at this location, and shifts can be either 4 or 6 hours.

*At least 2 people per shift are required. If any minors want to do this, there will need to be someone over 18 during the same shift with them.

The Travelin' Rat was founded May 2008. Currently, we are " freelance fundraisers", going to different events where we raise much-needed funds for whichever rescue we can. We are a 501(c)(30 organization, incrporated and registered in the State of Maryland as a charity.
Our mission is to help animal rescues in whatever way we can, especially those that take in pet rats. We generally do this through our fundraising efforts.
