Make a difference in the lives of veterans and their families!
The Ontario City Library is recruiting dedicated volunteers who want to serve as information specialists to ensure that veterans and veteran families of every era know how to get connected to their benefits and services.
You would staff the library’s Veterans Resource Center for at least one 3-hour shift per week and provide important information and referrals to veterans and their families.
Volunteers must be patient, empathic, have good listening skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality and respect personal boundaries.

Minimum 6 month commitment is requested.
Must be at least 18 and willing to undergo a background check.

Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
