If you have a good travel story, our elderly residents at Littleton Care and Rehabilitation would love to hear about it! Since our residents can't get out to travel on their own anymore, they love hearing presentations about other people's trips to far-off lands. Our folks are curious people, and love hearing short presentations on almost anything! Most of our presenters bring a slideshow of pictures on their computer or tablet that we can stream onto our big-screen tv, but if you have different ideas on what you'd like to do in your presentation, we are open to just about anything! Our activities staff will also provide snacks to compliment your presentation- after all, everything is better with food! Our presentations usually last about 30-45 minutes, and day and time are flexible! Please let me know if you're interested or if you have questions- I'll get back to you within one business day. Volunteers are a key part of how we enrich the lives of our wonderful residents, find people who want to share their time and talents with a great group of seniors. Plus, we take very good care of our volunteers, and work with them to ensure they receive the kind of skills and experience they are looking for.
