Program Night at PHFS
Children in shelter and volunteers playing a fun game of duck, duck, goose.

Our entire program is run by volunteers, from the creation of our program books to the design of our logo. Without our dedicated volunteers, Kids First Project would not be able to impact the many children we serve. You will be giving us the biggest gift of all by volunteering your time to our organization. Whether you’re interested in interacting with children through programs or you’re interested in the background work, your impact makes all the difference.

Program Night volunteers will lead the program of the night (usually three options, active and quiet activities) for the children in shelter based on age group. Volunteers will be able to choose between the age groups of 2-4, 5-10, or 11-18 years. Activity examples: one on one tutoring, healthy cooking classes, poetry, read aloud, and arts and crafts.
