Guna Foundation is a Berkeley-based, non-profit film studio specializing in Buddhist documentary films. Our mission is to open a window to the beauty and majesty of the Tibetan cultural heritage. Our all-volunteer staff is seeking a part-time team member who would focus on marketing and outreach for our film projects. We are looking for a personable, resourceful and results-oriented individual who is interested in independent film and cultural preservation, and the magical place where they intersect.
Guna’s last two films, Light of the Valley and Prayers of the Ancient Ones, were both aired on PBS stations across the country and were screened at select theatrical venues and prestigious museums in the US and Europe. We recently finsihed our third film.

The Marketing Coordinator would also liaise with outside consultants and representatives from organizations like the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA) as we pursue broadcast opportunities for the film.
Eventually, the Marketing Coordinator would go on to create publicity for other upcoming projects including feature-length and short films, and educational materials.
