Frankie’s Friends is in need of volunteers for the Lucky Dog Casino Night to be held on November 5 th at District 3 Events Venue located in downtown Tampa. Various positions are needed for outgoing, enthusiastic volunteers who like to interact with people and have fun.
Positions include registration, silent auction, cashiers, and promoting and selling Frankie’s Fun money and raffle tickets. We will also need people set up and breakdown volunteers.
Frankie’s Friends will host Lucky Dog Casino Night on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at the District 3 Arts & Event Venue located in downtown Tampa. Winners at the casino tables will receive Frankie’s Fun Money -- not real money -- which they may exchange for raffle tickets for wonderful prizes.
Our goal is to raise a net of $100,000 to help save Tampa Bay pets whose families cannot afford the full cost of lifesaving medical care. Last year, more than 1250 animals from Tampa Bay were assisted by Frankie’s Friends. With your help, we want to save even more this year.

Mission Statement
We are a non-profit foundation dedicated to finding cures and saving pets with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Many charitable organizations exist to provide care for strays, abused pets, and relinquished or abandoned pets, but there are few alternatives for pets belonging to otherwise loving and responsible owners who simply are unable to pay for an unexpected illness.
Description
Frankie’s Friends is a non-profit foundation dedicated to finding cures
and saving pets with cancer and other life-threatening conditions.
We save pets’ lives by providing grants to help with the cost of life-saving or life-enhancing emergency or specialty care for pets whose families cannot afford the full cost of treatment. In addition to Frankie’s Friends’ support, qualifying families are responsible for a portion of the treatment costs for their pets. The veterinary hospitals at which the pets are treated also assist by giving discounts.
Special funding may be made available to support the care of certified working dogs as well as rehabilitation of sick or injured wildlife.
It is also part of our mission to educate pet owners about the impact advanced medicine can have on pets’ lives.
Frankie’s Friends assists families who demonstrate substantial financial need and whose pets, with treatment, have a good prognosis for return to a good quality of life.
