Avalon Hospice is looking for someone to assist our staff in the Field with military ceremonies honoring our aging veterans. This volunteer can be a member of their High School ROTC or other military program, active duty military personnel, or retired milityar personnel and either male or female. This volunteer can also be someone who wants to honor our military in a unique way. This volunteer can visit patients, assist with the ceremonies, and also assist the Volunteer Coordinator in implementing a program that will promote dignity for our military veterans as they age. The minimum age for this work is 16 based on government and company policy. Office is open Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm.
