The Center for Career Pathways & Literacy at Lehigh Carbon Community College is hosting a volunteer tutor orientation for people interested in tutoring adults in our GED and ESL programs. Tutors are needed to in the subject areas of Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies.

The orientation will take place on Thursday, Febuary 4th at 6pm at the Allentown campus of LCCC located at 718 Hamilton St in Allentown. For more information please contact Tutor Corrdinator Allison Ludlow at 610-799-1216 or email at volunteertutor@lccc.edu. In order to tutor you need to have a Bachelor's degree in any field as well as 2015 clearances.

Description

Career Pathaways is a free program that offers a sequence in educational curriculum designed to help students along the path to a career in a high priority occupation. The curriculum is based on the needs of industries in the Lehigh Valley and is work focused. We offer both day and evenign clases to students looking to obtain their GED plus there are classes for English language learners as well.
