Our hospice volunteers make a difference for folks at the end of their life journey by being there for our fellow human beings!

You will be trained to meet the needs of patients and their families. You may visit on a schedule, yet also be open to change as needed due to the patient’s health and interests. You will provide support based on their needs, like running errands, listening to their life stories, reading to them, or singing their favorite song.

Our volunteers follow all CDC and AZ health department guidelines for infection control, just like our staff, including doing virtual visits from your home, using protective equipment if needed, and social distancing.

Depending on your interests, you may work in our office too, helping with administrative work, like data entry, mailing and photocopying, answering phone calls that come into the hospice and assisting our caring staff in coordinating support activities.

It can be a dynamic and fulfilling experience!
