The Geek Group is a 501(c)(3) non-profit science and educational institute based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. We are seeking volunteers who want to assist with writing grants and other donation inquiries.
You would not necessarily be in charge of writing a grant yourself, but we are looking for help at any step of the way. This could be researching, drafting, editing and determining impacts.
Experience is not required, and this may be a valuable opportunity if you are seeking experience. A strong command of English and enthusiasm for learning are required.
This is a great opportunity for real-world experience if you are a student, and is also a good opportunity for somebody who is retired or disabled, who wants to make a productive contribution with flexible opportunities.
