There are two times a year, Spring and Fall, that we offer a service for those grieving the loss of their loved one. We do a candle vigil, We Honor Veteran presentation, and words of encouragement to help them gain coping skills to carry families through the first holidays, birthdays, and day to day grieving.
We are looking for musicians who are able to perform peaceful, encouraging, and live music to edify this ceremony. (For example: acapella trio, guitar and voice, piano and small chorus, etc.)

LHC Group Hospice affirms life and neither hastens nor postpones death.
LHC Group Hospice exists in the hope and belief that, through appropriate care and the support of a caring community sensitive to their needs, terminally ill patients and their families may be free to attain a degree of mental and spiritual preparation for death this is satisfactory to them.
LHC Group Hospice offers palliative care to all terminally ill patients and support to those patients and families without regard for diagnosis, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, race, creed, disability, age, place of residence, or ability to pay.
Description
LHC Group Hospice see death as a natural part of the life process. Our goal is to affirm a person's right to be in control of their life, to be free from pain, and to die with dignity. With the support or the hospice team, the psychological needs of the family and the terminally ill person are addressed. This allows them the opportunity to focus on maintaining quality of life during the last phases of an incurable disease.
We see it as a duty, both employees and volunteers, to become familiar with the mission of the organization and to articulate that mission to the community.
