Whether you are juggling work, school, more than one job, family or other obligations, we will work with your schedule to complete your service hours!
We've been in business 27 years and have worked with thousands of volunteers. We can offer daytime, evening, weekday and weekend volunteer opportunities. There is no minimum hour requirement for shifts. We will create your schedule with you at an orientation. And even the orientation day and time can be flexible.

Description
Uhuru Furniture and Collectibles is a non-profit store that is a fundraiser for black community empowerment programs of APEDF. We receive a truck load of donated furniture and household items every day. This is a lively, popular Grand Lake area store staffed mostly by volunteers. When you volunteer at Uhuru Furniture, you not only contribute to the success of the store, you become part of a larger movement for peace through social justice. People shop at Uhuru Furniture for low priced, top quality items and to support crucial programs for social justice for African people.
