The Wemagination Resource Center (affectionately called "The WE") collects clean, safe, high-quality reusable materials. Through the use of these materials we:
- Intergrate learning opprotunities for teachers and families
- Give adults experiences and tools to engage young children through play, supporting their capacity to develop life skills in children for educational success
- Equip familes and educators with collabortive leadership skills that cross boundaries from early learning into schools in support of children's educational success
Are you passionate about early childhood education, imagination and play? Are you organized and creative, and enjoy looking at things from different perspectives? If so, than you are exactly who we are looking for!
We are looking for volunteers to support Wemagination staff members in maintaining the warehouse section of the building through managing existing inventory. Maintenance would include sorting and arranging existing materials, organizing and displaying new materials for distribution and identifying shortages of materials. Through your support the Wemagination will be able to service more educators and through them, more children!

The UNM Family Development Program's Wemagination Resource Center promotes open-ended, hands-on, play-based learning through the creative reuse of recycled materials available at our center. Our focus is Play. Wemagination promotes the idea that play in early childhood is essential to learning.
