This position is an AmeriCorps position with the AmeriCorps ACCESS Project. The ACCESS Project is based in Greensboro. This position is based in Raleigh at the host site of Centro Para Familas Hispanas.
The Family Support Specialist will complete intake interviews (needs assessments) with clients; provide direct family support and case management services to clients; plan & implement workshops or programs; and participate in community outreach.
This position requires a 900-hour service commitment over the course of 11 months. This position requires fluency in Spanish.

Description
Members are placed with partner agencies to do one or more of the following activities:
- Provide employment coaching and placement, volunteer recruitment and management, interpretation services, and disaster preparedness
- Provide ESOL, citizenship education, social services, case management, and related services to immigrant and refugees.
