I am Laketa Dumas, Community Coordinator for Mark Twain School located in Southwest Detroit downriver area. We are dire needs of tutors for our struggling students. Many of our students are two or three grade levels behind. In addition, there is no parental support at home. I was hoping your organization could provide tutors for three days a week for one hour. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at our school. If not three days, I'll take whatever you have available. Please let me know if you are able to provide us with any support. I would greatly appreciate whatever service you could provide to our school.

Mark Twain for Scholars is an accelerated gifted and talented program that offers an International Baccalaureate educational experience. The school is the first of its kind in the Southwest Community. We are excited about this new direction and are elated to provide such a curriculum that will prepare inner city students for the world.
