The Science Factory needs you for our annual Halloween Extravaganza on Sunday, October 29. Facilitate spooky experiments and run Halloween themed science activities with hundreds of visitors of all ages. Materials and training are provided. No prior science experience needed, but curiosity and enthusiasm are essential! Costumes are encouraged. Training session required -- Friday, October 27th at 5:30pm. Shifts available on Sunday, October 30 from 11:30AM to 3PM or 3PM to 6:30PM.

Founded in 1961, the Eugene Science Center's mission is to engage, excite, and inspire children toward a lifelong love of learning about science, technology, and humanity. We strive to do this through interactive exhibitions, planetarium shows, and educational programs on many scientific fields and concepts. We serve 35,000 visitors each year, including 6,000 K-8 children who participated in educational programs such as school field trips, holiday/vacation programs, and summer camps. Formerly the Science Factory.
