Volunteers in the Latent Fingerprint Program dust for fingerprints on vehicles left behind by car prowlers, assisting in efforts to catch the criminals. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old, able to pass a background check, and able to attend the training. Volunteer commitment will be around 4 hours per week or as needed. Through partnerships with the Spokane Police Department and the city of Spokane, we are here to make Spokane a safe environment for all members of this community. At our 10 COPS shops around the city, our volunteers work hard to help you find solutions to problems through a number of programs and resources.
