This position is responsible for working at the front desk for specific shifts (times and days to be negotiated based on availability). The Front Desk agent will interface with the public, both over the phone and with walk-in citizens. The Front Desk agent will work to inform citizens of their options and work to help resolve their issues by referring them to the proper entities or helping make reports. The Front Desk agent will gain knowledge in various areas such as crime prevention, law enforcement regulations, code violations, and many other areas. Training and certifications provided.
Business conducted at the Front Desk includes fielding phone and walk-in traffic, filling out communication forms, statistics book, daily diary, filling out phone messages, data entry, on-line resourcing, email, possible assistance to assigned Neighborhood Conditions Officer (NCO) and/or Dept. of Corrections Officers.
