What is an 'SMS' Volunteer? Smile Maker Supervisor
What do we do? Our volunteers take donated scrap wood and make toys to give away to children, of all ages, in need of a smile. www.toys4smileslasvegas.org
This is a volunteer position.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years old or older. No woodworking experience needed. Men & women are welcome.
You will be assigned to one (1) 4-hour shift per week:
- 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
- 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
- 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Desire to help put smiles on children of all ages (Have a heart for our mission).
Willingness to train volunteers on simple toy making operations.
Oversee safety, housekeeping and quality.
If it's not fun, we don't do it! : )
Come help make a difference. Stop by, see the toy shop, have some coffee and maybe a cookie or two. : )
