Help plan the 2016 Susan G. Komen New Hampshire Race for the Cure

Join our dedicated Race for the Cure Planning Committees in putting together our New Hampshire Komen Race in Portsmouth. It is the passion and support of each volunteer that helps us raise vital funds to reach our mission of a world without breast cancer.
We are looking for a Volunteer Committee Chair.
As the leader of this committee, you will -
Recruit, engage and train Race-day volunteers
Manage volunteer database
Send out confirmations with event details and parking information
Manage Volunteer Tent on Race Day
Send thank you notes and other volunteer correspondence
Requirements -
Attend Monthly Committee Meetings
Attend the Pre Race Set-up (Friday, May 6, 2016) and the NH Race for the Cure- May 7, 2016

Susan G. Komen for the Cure works to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all, and energize science to find the cure for breast cancer.
Description
A minimum of 25 percent of the net income from each domestic Affiliate Race supports the national Komen for the Cure Grant Program, which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research, meritorious awards and educational and scientific conferences around the world. Up to 75 percent of the net income from each domestic Affiliate Race stays in the local community to fund breast health education, breast cancer screening and treatment projects.
